Hello, I am Mrs. Mitchell. I have been the Ag Teacher and FFA Advisor of Smith Valley for 7 years and I love every second of it. I am a Smith Valley School Alumni who attended the University of Nevada, Reno where I received my Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education with a focus in Agriculture Education and Health Science Education with endorsements in Career and Technical Education and English as a Second Language. Before teaching at Smith Valley, I taught at Battle Mountain High School where I started the Agriculture and FFA program. I have a true love for agriculture that stems from my upbringing. My family and I own a cow/calf operation in Smith Valley that allows me to bring real-life experiences to my classroom and to my students. I enjoy the memories made and the students I get to meet and watch succeed through FFA.

Hi, my name is Matia Dreyer and I am the 2020-2021 Smith Valley FFA President. I've been in FFA since my 7th grade year.I love agriculture and plan to pursue a life working in the agricultural field wherever that might be. I enjoy playing sports for SVHS and participating in FFA activities. A fun fact about myself is that I love Beanee Weenees, and complaining to Mrs. Mitchell any chance I get.

My name is Jackie Sceirine. I am the 2020-2021 FFA Vice President. My duties require me to fill in during the absence of our president and to take care of the POA. I am a fifth generation rancher here in Smith Valley, Nevada. I like to hunt, play football, lift weights and work on our ranch.

Hi, my name is Sarah Thran and I am Smith Valley FFA's Chapter Secretary. Some things about me are that I love to play sports and to read. I am also the business manager for the Blue and Gold Creamery and the blackberry patch at the farm. My job as a secretary is to keep an accurate record of meetings and to correspond with other secretaries. I cant wait to see what this year has in store for Smith Valley FFA! Thank you.

Hi my name is Reese Urton. I am the Smith Valley FFA's Treasurer this year. I show steers and sheep and I own the sheep business at the farm. I love playing volleyball and hanging out with my family. My duties as Treasurer are to keep a record of receipts and disbursements and help keep our chapter finacially stable.

Hi, my name is Gillian Urton I am this year's Chapter Reporter for Smith Valley FFA. I am 15 years old and a freshman in high school. As well as being an officer and showing pigs through FFA I am the manager for the Adopt-A-Pot business ran through FFA, I also love playing volleyball, and hanging out with family and friends. My duties as reporter are to keep everyone updated about the recent or upcoming events our chapter is planning on completing or attending.

Hi, my name is Maleia Daley. I am currently 14 years old and a freshman in high school. I’m involved in many extracurricular activities such as volleyball, basketball and participating in FFA.I am the Smith Valley 2020-2021 Chapter Historian. My job as a Historian include taking pictures, working with our Reporter and making sure that this year’s chapter and activities are remembered. At the end of the year I will make a scrapbook of our memories throughout the year so future members can see our past achievements. I joined FFA about two years ago and have enjoyed it ever since.

Hi, my name is Briar Feuerhelm and I am 16 years young. I attend Smith Valley High School and I am the Smith Valley FFA Sentinel. My jobs are to keep equipment in proper shape, assis the president and make everyone welcome. My favorite activities are being with friends, hunting, fishing and riding dirtbikes.
